After many years as blackberry growers, we are proud to have created our unique, proprietary varieties. Indeed, we are acknowledged for the appearance and taste that we constantly demand from our fruits.
As with all our other crops, we apply the best agricultural practices and latest reproduction methods in growing our blackberries.
The quality of our dark purple berries is reflected in their uniform size, firmness and shiny skin. Clean, healthy and tasty, blackberries should not have bruises nor dents. However, it is perfectly normal for berries to have two different shades of colour, depending on ripeness.
Always follow the conservation tips provided by blackberry growers
In order to enjoy the best experience, blackberries should be kept dry and refrigerated before eating. Blackberries, like raspberries, are especially delicate. For this reason, they should be washed with care using plenty of cold water just before being served.
And, remember, enjoy them as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, if you wish to freeze the berries to make jams, jellies or other desserts, wash them carefully and store them in freezer storage containers.
One of the greatest strengths of blackberries, in terms of properties, is their natural pigments, including carotenoids and anthocyanins, which act as antioxidants for the body. Owing to its high fibre content, they also improve intestinal transit.
Finally, it should be noted that the amount of potassium in blackberries enables generation and transmission of nerve impulses, and helps people with significant muscular activities.
